Original color illustration by Marcellus Hall published in The New Yorker Magazine on November 26, 2001 to accompany an article announcing the opening of Issey Miyake’s flagship store in the Tribeca section of New York City, which was designed by the world-renowned Canadian-American architect and designer Frank Gehry.
Created using ink, watercolor paint, and colored pencil on 11.75” x 4.5” Arches 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper. The reverse side contains the artist’s signature stamp and date of publication. Excellent condition.
