Original color illustration by Marcellus Hall published in The New Yorker’s double February 18 & 25, 2002 issue, to feature Zinnie Harris’s play entitled “Further Than the Furthest Thing,” which ran at the Manhattan Theater Club from January through March 2002.

Ink and watercolor paint on 8” x 8.25” Arches 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper. The foot of the paper contains the handwritten note “New Yorker 2/02,” indicating the date of Marcellus’s creation of the piece. The reverse side contains a handwritten reference to the play, Marcellus’s signature stamp, and the date of publication. Excellent condition.
